The ABI office will sell tickets up until June 7th. Tickets will thereafter (until June 12) be available only at the ABI Conference in Okoboji. Drawing to be held June 12, 2013. Need not be present to win.

 

 

Official Contest Rules 
By participating in the Iowa ABI $10,000 Grand Prize Raffle, contestants agree to the specific rules, terms and conditions provided for the contest as stated, either in addition to or in place of the Official Contest Rules given here.

  • Ticket prices are one ticket for $100 or three tickets for $250 for all contestants. No portion of the ticket price is tax deductible. Price of ticket includes sales tax.
  • Prizes are based on selling a minimum of 400 tickets. If less than 400 tickets are sold, the prizes will be reduced proportionately.
  • Prize winners are responsible for any taxes owed on prize winnings.
  • Contestants need not be present to win. Drawing will take place June 12, 2013 at the Iowa ABI Conference in Okoboji.
  • No employee of the Iowa ABI or the Iowa ABI Foundation may participate in the raffle.
  • The Iowa ABI and the Iowa ABI Foundation may use winner’s names for promotional purposes, which may include the use of a photo and/or the name of the winner on the website and in other promotional materials.
  • The decision of the Iowa ABI is final. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Contest is void where prohibited. All participants agree to be bound by these rules.

The Iowa Association of Business and Industries (Iowa ABI) and the ABI Foundation assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for damages, loss or injury resulting from participating in the promotion. In consideration of participation in the promotion, and for other goods and valuables consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the Entrant, on Entrant's behalf, and on behalf of Entrant's heirs, successors or assigns, administrators and personal representatives, does hereby covenant not to sue, fully release and forever discharge the Iowa ABI and the Iowa ABI Foundation and each of their respective boards, officers, employees, agents, insurers, attorneys, and representatives, and each predecessor, successor, and assign thereof, from and against any and all actions, charges, claims, losses, costs, damages, expenses (including attorneys' fees and expenses) and liabilities of any kind or character, whether known or unknown, in connection with, arising out of or in any way related to Entrant's participation in any promotion. The Iowa ABI and ABI Foundation reserves the right in its sole discretion to interpret the rules of any contest and such interpretation shall be binding upon all participants. High school students from across the state of Iowa attend Business Horizons, a week-long program where they launch their own product and run their own business.

Leadership Iowa is the premier issues-awareness program promoting leadership within the state for the past 25 years. We educate, challenge and inspire our participants to bring out their inherent quality to “point the way.”
