The mission of the Iowa ABI Foundation is, “To deliver programs and to conduct research for the benefit of students, educators, emerging leaders, and employers that expand their knowledge and enhance their individual responsibility and leadership skills.
Leadership Iowa is the premier issues-awareness program promoting leadership within the state for the past 25 years. We educate, challenge and inspire our participants to bring out their inherent quality to “point the way.”
High school students from across the state of Iowa attend Business Horizons, a week-long camp where they create their own product and run their own business.
The ABI Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) organization, that works diligently to reach students, teachers, and communities across the entire state of Iowa and has the good fortune of well-respected, successful programming. The ABI Foundation helps develop Iowa's workforce and leaders through statewide programs such as Business Horizons and Leadership Iowa. The ABI Foundation was created by the Iowa Association of Business and Industry in 1984.
